The ELIZABETH WILMOT BULL SCHOLARSHIP is co-sponsored by the Georgia Council on Auxiliaries/Volunteers of the Georgia Hospital Association. This scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a health-related degree. 

Qualifications for this scholarship include:

  • Enrolled in a medical/health-related course of study in a Georgia college.  Pre-med and pre-nursing applications cannot be accepted.  Programs such as biology or chemistry as stand alone majors or on-line programs or med techs do not qualify, nor does Veterinary Medicine.
  • Two (2) letters of reference from teacher, counselor, supervisor, or clergy on appropriate letterhead, dated and in a sealed envelope.
  • A 3.0 GPA or better
  • Narrative profile of yourself, stressing factors relevant to your occupational choice and goals.
  • Official high school and/or college transcript and available aptitude and achievement tests.  High school transcript needed only if you are entering your freshman year of a medically-related program through a technical school.
  • Official proof of acceptance (if not currently enrolled) from the school you will attend.
  • A personal interview with a letter of recommendation from the President or Scholarship Chairperson of the sponsoring Auxiliary is required.  Letter of recommendation must be on Auxiliary letterhead, dated and signed.
  • Completed application form with all the reqired attachments must be postmarked to the Elizabeth Wilmot Bull Scholarship Chairperson not later than January 31, 2019
