The EJCH Auxiliary is happy to consider the application of any student who meets scholarship criteria. It would be our pleasure and privilege to provide some financial support for your educational pursuits.
Scholarships are available up to $4,000 for students currently enrolled in a health-related degree program at an accredited college, university, or technical school. Awarding scholarships will be at the sole discretion of the Emory Johns Creek Hospital Auxiliary Committee. Applications must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the start of the semester.
Application Instructions
To apply, download the application packet below. Please be sure to read the application carefully for exact requirements. Specific instructions for completing and submitting applications can be found in the "Checklist" document.
Applicants must provide:
- A completed scholarship application
- A short narrative essay stating your career goals and the reason(s) you chose a health-related field of study
- Official transcript from the last educational institution attended
- Verification letter indicating acceptance into a health-related program, including date of acceptance (month and year) and proposed date of graduation (month and year). Physical and occupational therapy applicants must furnish a letter of acceptance to a master's program.
- Two signed letters of recommendation on appropriate letterhead and in a sealed envelope (one should be from a teacher or supervisor)
Scholarship Details
- Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, lab fees, and registration. Funds can also be applied to the cost of books, special fees, special equipment, or uniforms that are necessary in the course of study.
- Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the school
- Scholarship funds cannot be used for room and board
- Scholarship recipients will be notified in writing of their selection
- All selections by the Committee will be considered final
- A one-time Renewal Scholarship will be considered after the Auxiliary Scholarship is awarded
