Auxiliary Scholarships

The EMORY JOHNS CREEK HOSPITAL AUXILIARY SCHOLARSHIP. These scholarships are for $2,000 and awarded to students who are Georgia residents and have been accepted in a health care program at a Georgia College. 

A one time renewal of $1000 is offered for applicants who graduate in 2020 or later. 

Qualifications for this scholarship include: 

.   A completed application 

.   Two (2) signed letters of recommendation on appropriate letterhead and in a sealed envelope. One should be from a teacher or supervisor 

  • A short narrative essay stating your career goals and reason you chose a health-related field of study 
  • Official transcript from the last educational institution attended 
  • Verification letter from school indicating acceptance into a health-related program, including date of acceptance (month and year) and proposed date of graduation (month and year) We cannot accept applications for pre-med or pre-nursing. Physical therapy and occupational  therapy applicants must furnish letter of acceptance to a master's program. 
  • Completed and signed application and agreement 
  • Must be received no later than April 12, 2019 with notification by June 1, 2019.

Application Instructions 

Completed applications with all required attachments must be received by the Scholarship Committee on or before April 12, 2019. Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Committee and notified, in writing of their selection, on or before June 1, 2019. All selections by the Committee will be considered final.

Scholarship money awarded by the Auxiliary can be used to include tuition, lab fees, and registration. It can also be applied to the cost of books, special fees, special equipment needed, and uniforms that are necessary in the course of study. Scholarship money will be sent directly to the school. Scholarship funds cannot be used for room and board.
